Education for all is a human rights-based approach to education. The approach assures every child a quality education that respects and promotes her or his right to dignity and personal growth. Achieving this goal is, however, enormously complex – as there is urgent need to formulate and design institutional arrangementsand policy prescriptions that can ensure our young generation has the necessary skills, they need, to navigate an increasingly competitive knowledge based economic space. Effectively implemented, policy prescriptions ensuring universal education also promotes social mobility and creates a foundation for greater social inclusion.
