Dr. Mauro Cristeche is a CONICET Full Assistant Researcher and a Constitutional Law Assistant Professor at the University of La Plata (UNLP), Argentina. He is also a Board Member and Coordinator of the Area “State, Public Policies and Rights” at the Institute of Legal Culture (UNLP). He is currently a Visiting Fellow at the McGill University Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism, and at the Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work, Université de Montreal.
He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Buenos Aires in 2013. In 2015 he was an Erasmus Mundus postdoctoral scholar at the University DegliStudi di Padova (Italy). In 2016 he received the Young Researcher Award from the National University of La Plata. In 2017 he was a Fulbright fellow at Johns Hopkins University (United States). In 2019 he was an O’Brien Fellow in Residence at McGill University.
